For the Crust:

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a 9Γ—13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add eggs and mix until combined. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt, then stir into the banana mixture. Fold in the walnuts.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
