For the Crust:
- 1.5 lbs flank steak
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup fresh mozzarella balls, halved
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Marinate the flank steak in this mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated flank steak for about 5-6 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
- Let the steak rest for 5 minutes, then slice it against the grain. Serve with cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and fresh basil, drizzling extra balsamic vinegar on top.
