Avocado, Mozzarella, and Tomato Grilled Cheese

A delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese, featuring creamy avocado, melted mozzarella, and fresh tomato slices.

For the Crust:

  • 2 ripe avocados, sliced
  • 4 slices of mozzarella cheese
  • 8 slices of whole wheat bread
  • 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place a slice of bread, buttered side down, on the skillet. Layer with mozzarella, avocado slices, and tomato slices. Top with a second slice of bread, buttered side up. Repeat with remaining ingredients to make four sandwiches.
  4. Cook for 3-5 minutes on each side until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
