For the Crust:
- 2 ripe avocados, sliced
- 4 slices of mozzarella cheese
- 8 slices of whole wheat bread
- 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place a slice of bread, buttered side down, on the skillet. Layer with mozzarella, avocado slices, and tomato slices. Top with a second slice of bread, buttered side up. Repeat with remaining ingredients to make four sandwiches.
- Cook for 3-5 minutes on each side until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.
